AVIRA
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12 September 2026
This is a translation for convenience. If it differs from the Hebrew version, the Hebrew version prevails.
This policy explains what information this site collects, why, who receives it and what your rights are. It is written in plain language under Israel’s Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, and its regulations.
1. Who is responsible for your information
- Business
- AVIRA
- Phone
- 054-7070233
- Send a message
2. Giving us information is your choice
No law requires you to give us any information. You can browse, search, read and view the galleries without sharing anything that identifies you. If you choose not to give a name and phone number in the enquiry form, we simply won’t be able to get back to you.
3. What we collect, and why
The enquiry form
- What: your name and phone (so we can reply), and, if you choose, email, wedding date, venue and a message.
- Why: to reply, send a quote and coordinate. When you type a venue we don’t have a page for yet, it tells us which pages are worth adding.
- Also stored with it: a one-way encrypted fingerprint of your IP address (not the address itself) and your browser type, to stop the form being flooded; and, if you have a personal board, its link, so we can see what you liked before we talk.
- Marketing: we won’t send you promotions or newsletters unless you tick that box explicitly. Replying to your enquiry is not marketing. You can withdraw consent at any time, by telling us or through the unsubscribe link in any message.
Your personal board
- When you save a place, photo or plan, a personal board with a short link is created.
- What is stored: the items you saved and, if you fill them in, names, phone, wedding date, a note and your plan details (venue, getting-ready place, times).
- Who can see it: anyone with the link sees the names, plan and saved items, so share it only with people you choose. The phone number is shown only to you and to us. We see boards too, to prepare for the first call.
- A cookie in your browser is what lets you edit it — see the cookie policy.
“Ask AVIRA”
The text of your question is sent to an AI provider (Anthropic, USA) to write an answer from this site’s content only. We don’t store questions. Under the provider’s commercial terms, content sent this way is not used to train its models. Please don’t include personal details in your question. Answers are generated automatically, can be wrong, and don’t bind us on price or availability.
The style quiz and day planner
Your answers live only in the page address in your browser, not with us — unless you save the result to your board.
Browsing
Like any website, the hosting servers technically log IP address, browser type, time and page for security and operation. We use no tracking, advertising or behavioural analytics tools, and set no advertising cookies.
Photographs in the galleries
If you appear in a photo on this site and would rather it weren’t shown, tell us and we’ll remove it.
4. Who receives information
We don’t sell, rent or share personal information for advertising. It reaches only the providers that run the site for us, and only as far as their job requires:
| Provider | Country | Role | Information |
|---|---|---|---|
| Railway Corp. | USA (server located in Europe) | Running the site’s server | IP address and technical details of every request, in short-lived server logs |
| Neon, Inc. | USA (servers in Europe, Frankfurt) | The site’s database | Enquiries, couple boards and site content |
| GitHub, Inc. | USA | Keeping a nightly database backup for 30 days | A copy of the database |
| OpenStreetMap Foundation | United Kingdom | Displaying maps | IP address and the map area shown, when a map loads |
| YouTube (Google LLC) / Vimeo, Inc. | USA | Playing films — only after you press play | IP address and viewing details, under the provider’s policy |
| Pixieset Media Inc. | Canada | The private galleries of couples we photographed — opened only after you tap “the couple’s gallery” | IP address and viewing details on Pixieset’s site, under their policy |
Some providers operate outside Israel, so information may be stored or processed there. It is transferred only to provide the service, and the providers are bound to protect it.
Vendors and venues we recommend don’t receive your details from us unless you ask. External links (WhatsApp, Waze, Google Maps, Instagram) take you to another service with its own privacy policy. Beyond that, we disclose information only when the law requires it.
5. How long we keep it
- An enquiry that didn’t become a booking is deleted automatically 24 months after it was sent.
- A booked couple’s enquiry is kept up to 7 years, to manage the engagement and meet legal duties.
- A personal board is deleted automatically after 24 months without changes, once the wedding date (if given) is at least a year past.
- You can ask us to delete an enquiry or board at any time before that.
- Deleted information may remain in our backups for up to 30 days before it is gone from there too.
6. Security
Traffic to the site is encrypted (HTTPS). Only we can access enquiries and boards, through an admin system with an encrypted password. IP addresses are kept only as an encrypted fingerprint, and data is backed up. No security is perfect, but we take reasonable measures and will act as the law requires if an incident occurs.
7. Your rights
- To see the information held about you (section 13 of the Privacy Law).
- To ask for information that is wrong, incomplete, unclear or out of date to be corrected or deleted (section 14). We will also delete any enquiry or board on request, even where the law doesn’t require it.
- To unsubscribe from marketing at any time.
Contact us through any of the details in section 1. We reply within 30 days at most, and may ask you to confirm the information is yours first.
8. Minors
The site is meant for couples planning a wedding. We don’t knowingly collect information about minors.
9. Visitors outside Israel
If you browse from another country, such as the European Union, you may have further rights under the law that applies to you. Contact us and we will honour them.
10. Changes
If we update this policy, the new version is published here and the date at the top changes. Any significant new use of information you have already given will need your consent.
